Description

As a timekeeper/field project accountant with Graycor Industrial Constructors, you will direct and perform the daily administrative functions for our ongoing projects at AK Steel in Middletown, OH

 

 

At Graycor, You Will Have The Opportunity To:

  • Organize and maintain project field files
  • Process weekly payroll
  • Verify timesheets daily with customer gate log system
  • Preparation of all invoicing, monthly progress, time and material reports for client
  • Prepare all billings for extra work as needed
  • Enter employee’s time into accounting system
  • Prepare follow up invoices for collections
  • Process layoff checks
  • Verify client change orders and maintain change order and purchase order database

 

 

To Be Successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an office manager/timekeeper preferably on a construction project.
  • Previous experience with invoicing and accounts payable strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed.  It is needed on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, fax machines, and PC workstation.
  • Ability to regularly lift boxes up to 25lbs.
